Auckland’s Basketball premier women’s basketball team, The Auckland Dream, are proud to announce their new naming rights sponsor for the 2020 Sal's NBL season!
Following the 2019 WBC Championship winning season, ETCO has joined forces with The Auckland Dream and the team will be known as the “ETCO Auckland Dream”.
ETCO is New Zealand’s leading provider of electrical apprenticeships, training and employment. ETCO has a proud history of placing apprentices with electrical companies and contractors through their group apprenticeship scheme.
ETCO’s CEO, Jeremy Sole say’s “professionalism, teamwork and passion are our core values and these align with the ETCO Auckland Dream and Auckland Basketball Services. We are thoroughly excited about the opportunity to partner with the reigning Sal’s NBL champions. We are focused on inspiring and encouraging young women, in particular, to become electrical apprentices and this partnership will allow us to deliver this message.”
New Zealand basketball is experiencing massive growth with high school player numbers expected to out strip rugby, soccer and netball becoming NZ’s top ranked high school sport.

The ETCO Auckland Dream play their first game on April 29th at Trust Arena, West Auckland.
