BA, CMBB and WWABi competing at U23 Mens National Championships

ABSL would like to wish our three U23 men’s team’s good luck for the U23 National Championships that will be held from August 2nd to August 5th. The tournament will take place at Te Rauparaha Arena in Porirua. A total of 14 associations from all over New Zealand will be competing hard in order to be crowned national champions.

The pool structure has been released and Basketball Auckland (BA) will be in a pool of 3, alongside well-drilled teams Harbour and Tauranga. Counties Manukau (CMBB) will be in a pool of 4 alongside tough Hutt Valley, Rotorua and Otago teams. On the other hand Waitakere (WWABi) will be in a pool of 4, which sees them go up against Waikato, Waikato Country and the hometown team Porirua.

Our teams will face tough competition and will need to play hard and compete at a high level. Teams have prepared well and now it is time to show all the hard work that the players have put into training and showcase their abilities.

Safe travels to all the players, referees, coaches and managers that have made their way down to the tournament.

Good luck everyone!
