The Government confirmed this afternoon that Auckland will remain at Level 2.5, to be reviewed again on 14 September, with 16 September the earliest possible date for a change in levels. The rest of the country remains at Alert Level 2.

As such, all our community basketball activity remains postponed until at least Wednesday, 16 September. This includes Adult Leagues, Miniball, Club Leagues and Club nights.
In terms of specific impacts:
- All Adult Leagues, Miniball and Club Leagues are postponed.
- All club nights are postponed
- School programmes can continue, depending on the each school’s specific policies.
- Representative coaches will be contacted directly, in summary the constraints previously detailed will continue to apply.
In the case of cancellations, credits on paid fees will apply and we will confirm the specific details for each programme’s activities.
We will send emails and post updates on our social media channels as further details are confirmed.
Remember that you can still play basketball with your whānau and close friends, provided you adhere to the rules of less than 10 in any group, and only with family and close friends – don’t play with people you don’t know and can’t trace, and don’t share your basketballs or other equipment with strangers.
