2019 National Selection Camp & Junior Tall Black Selections - ABSL Athletes

ABSL would to like to congratulate all athletes who have been selected in the U17/U19 National Selection Camp which will be held from Tuesday 23 April - Saturday 27 April at Pulman Park. This is a great opportunity for our ABSL athletes who will be learning from experienced NZ based coaches Pero Cameron, Daryl Cartwright and U.S based coaches Aaron Fearne and Hernando Planells.
ABSL is also proud to announce that Jaga Mete-Smith and Nathan Wilson (Basketball Auckland) have been selected in the Junior Tall Blacks who will be representing New Zealand in their Tour of China. Friendly games against against Denmark and China which will commence on Friday 19 April . The Junior Tall Blacks will also play in the Atlas Sports International Tournament which is an annual invitational tournament. The tour will be valuable preparation leading up the U19 FIBA World Cup which will be held in Greece in June.
